Filmmaker // Editor

Passionate, excited and a forever student of filmmaking, George is a collaborative and hardworking asset that has partnered with Fig Media for over the past five years. George studied visual effects and animation at Columbia College Chicago, earning his degree in Cinema Arts and Science, but his real love comes from behind the camera and editing the story. His time with Fig Media has given him the privilege to collaborate on client projects such as Scion, Allseating, The Mushroom Council, Byron D. Trott, Association House, Lakeview Pantry, and American Supply Association among many others. Outside of his professional work, George enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and writing in his free time. He currently resides in Tinley Park, Illinois with his wife, Danielle, and their son, Elias (born December 2, 2021), enjoying life and eating deep dish pizza.

George developed a passion for storytelling and cinema as a boy and often drew pictures as a way of taking notes in his classrooms. He continues to enjoy making visual what he hears and translating ideas into actionable events. Growing up he jumped at opportunities to act in plays and filmed skits with friends. He went on to obtain a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Visual Effects and Animation which was an extension of his passion to make ideas into reality. George’s production and post-production work at fig is an opportunity to further make actionable his passion. At Fig he’s jumped into a number of projects and is building a prestigious client list that includes SL Mag, CEC, ModLUX, CS Weddings, and UnleashWD. He works in production and post-production in a number of capacities from editing corporate event social media edits to working sound for live event filming. He continues to experiment and gain experience in a myriad of event and production-related jobs.
