Rock For Kids
Executive Producer | James Gustin

Overview
Before the organization was known as Foundations of Music, they called themselves: Rock for Kids. This was a pro-bono project our team took on to help the marketing committee create material they could use on their new website initiative. Fig donated a total value of 10K worth of production toward the creation of this short.
Production
What inspired us most about the organization was how much they did with so little. Their classes had a huge footprint on Chicago. Supporting both musicians and teachers to educate students who would not have access to classes otherwise. To keep things simple we decided to forgo the traditional interview route and create something fun and musical. We had lots of classes to cover in a short amount of time. We visited 15 of those classes and gathered the best sound and images we could from its students.

This film is still one of our favorites. Even with it's age, it still feels current and fresh. Stills from this film were used as marketing photography till they changed their name almost 8 years after its creation.
